We exist to help entrepreneurs communicate the vision and message they’re here to share with the world.  

We’re growing fast and are expanding our client support team to reach and help more entrepreneurs and business owners.

Mission For Sales Rep

To drive NEW business revenue by:

1) Generating conversations with potential clients,

2) Converting those conversations into front-end sales, 

3) Recouping and re-setting leads who didn’t initially close (follow-up).

Outcomes & Responsibilities

  1. Generate NEW business revenue monthly to maintain or exceed Conscious Copy & Co.’s close rate of 33%+ through inbound and self-generated calls.
  2. Nurture leads by following-up with leads from various sources including the website, opt-ins, webinar attendees, client referrals, webinar/event registrants, social media, and leads within our existing database so that Conscious Copy & Co. achieves their monthly and yearly revenue target.
  3. Daily execution of team & administrative tasks such as effectively managing, maintaining, and tracking a pipeline of leads and all outreaches via phone, email, and text message within Conscious Copy & Co.’s CRM and sales reporting.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Day to day, you’ll be selling on pre-scheduled sales calls and following up with past/interested leads. 
  • Up to 2-3 times a year, you may be asked to attend a Sponsorship to sell there.
  • You may also be invited to attend 2-3 Workshops/Retreats we host per year to help close deals live in person.  
  • Reach out to current clients to book calls for upsell opportunities

    • People skills:
      • You’re going to be talking with people all day. Being a natural rapport builder is going to hedge your bets on success (this DOESN’T mean you have to be an extrovert).
    • Integrity:
      • Be someone who follows through with what you say. Be honest with prospects. And only enroll clients who’re a great fit. 
    • Leadership:
      • You must always lead prospects to the best decision for them EVEN IF that decision is outside of their comfort zone. Take a stand for what’s BEST for people. 
    • Hunger // Work ethic:
      • This is not an easy job, but it pays well. To earn the income that’s possible for you here… you must be willing to put in hours honing your craft and doing everything you can to 1) generate opportunities 2) close them. You must be hungry. 
    • Proactivity:
      • Wherever you are in relation to your projections, you must know why. If you’re ahead, you must know what you’re doing well and what needs to be reinforced. If you’re behind, you must have the awareness to know WHY you’re behind. Proactive behavior will create awareness. And your awareness will allow you to adjust your behavior to get the results. 
    • Attention to detail:
      • You will be tasked with staying up to date with your numbers and CRM activities. This is secondary to HITTING your numbers, but still important. 
    • High standards:
      • You’re tasked with helping prospects live up to their highest standards. Therefore, YOU must live up to our own high standards. 
    • Poise:
      • You’ll be having crucial conversations on a daily basis which – a lot of times – can be life changing conversations for the prospect. You must be calm under pressure and hold firm to help the prospect make the best decision for them.

This is for you if you are:

  • You are or have recently been the top rep at your current/past company (or at least in the top 5%)
  • You have knowledge/expertise in selling to high level entrepreneurs and leaders. 
  • You’re great with people, and not afraid to challenge them to be their best
  • You have a strong internal drive to help people through sales of a product you believe in, and hate missing out on potential sales opportunities.
  • You are an action taker – You’re good at problem-solving and figuring things out on your own with minimal direction… you know how to create your own structured work environment.
  • You are results-oriented – You not only meet but exceed KPI’s/expectations and can take an idea all the way to execution with excellence. 
  • You are process-driven – You don’t just look at a task, but innovate and find ways to improve the entire system.
  • You’re coachable – You seek out growth opportunities at any chance you get,  actively reading and learning from books or courses to get better at your role.
  • You believe in Aligned Action – You’re the opposite of “That’s not my job” and take the initiative. You are committed to helping the team and company reach its goals. 
  • You believe in Full Ownership – You are a self-motivated self-starter who can maintain and nurture your pipeline, stay on top of your administrative items, take initiative, and live on the solution side of situations, all while achieving your KPI’s.

Disqualifiers: Please DO NOT apply for this position if you…

  • Have not successfully done what is laid out in this application’s “Outcomes/ Responsibilities” section in a past role.
  • Have less than 2 years of sales experience
  • Have been in sales for a long time and are looking for a job where you can “coast to the finish line”
  • Don’t have the drive and ability to self motivate

Do You Qualify?

At Conscious Copy & Co., we value work ethic, coachability, and your past sales results in more than your degree (or lack thereof), GPA, etc.

Have you delivered results in a similar role in the past? If so, that’s what we’re looking for.

Required:

  • At least 2 years of VERY high performance as a sales rep
  • Minimum of $250,000 in sales of any product/service in the past
  • Experience selling mid priced-ticket ($5,000+)  
  • CRM & sales process experience
  • Experience selling to CEOs & entrepreneurs 

Preferred:

  • At least 5 years of high-performance sales experience (selling $250k+ per year)
  • Minimum of $1M in lifetime sales of any product/service
  • Experience with mid priced ticket, high volume sales (ie. $5-10k sales price, 1-2 call close) rather than longer cycle B2B/enterprise sales
  • You’re Humble, Hungry, and Smart (Article).

Time:

  • You will have the freedom to make your own schedule. That said, you will be expected to open enough calendar space to hit approximately 60 calls through inbound & self-generated leads every month.
  • You will also be expected to complete your morning & end of day tasks (see above) every day, Monday-Friday. 
  • You will also be expected to be available to communicate through Slack 8am-6pm PST daily. 
  • This is a full time, 30-40 hours / wk position.
  • This position is remote. So you will have the freedom to work from anywhere.

The Pay

This is a commission based role with an approximate base of $8,000/month with the potential of earning $15,000+/month
